How would you associate one of the characters in "Death of a Salesman" with the theme of forgiveness?

Linda is clearly of a forgiving nature as she tolerates
Willy's erratic behaviour and has stuck by him throughout their unsuccessful lives. She
tolerates his mercurial mood swings, his frustrations over the turbulent relationship
with their eldest son and, towards the end, his suicidal plans. Linda is aware of
Willy's shortcomings, but she loves and cares for him
anyway-



LINDA:
I don't say he's a great man. Willy Loman never made a lot of money. His name was never
in the paper. He's not the finest characters that ever lived. But he's a human being,
and a terrible thing is happening to him. So attention must be
paid.



Linda has worked hard
to save her husband and reconcile her family - to no avail. Her words in the requiem
show that she still remains loyal to her husband-
