How does the meaning of "antisocial" apply to the book Fahrenheit 451?

Clarisse is dubbed anitsocial in this book by the school
officials and psychological experts. Readers see this as paradoxical because our
understanding in society of that word antisocial means to be not
social. Clarisse loves everything that means being social. She likes to talk to Montag.
She likes to sit around with her family and discuss things. She would enjoy discussion
in school if it were allowed.

What is ironic about this
term is the fact that the society in Fahrenheit 451 rather works to
create antisocial people. They are capable of engaging with the parlor walls like
Mildred, but to have valuable discussion and thought with each other is frowned
upon.
