Line j has a slope of -7/8. Line k is perpendicular to line j. What is the slope of line k?

Line J m=-7/8

Formula of
slope of line perpendicular or another line is:

m1m2=-1
where m1 is slope 1 and m2 is the slope we have to
find

therefore
-7/8(m2)=-1

Take 8 on the other side as numerator and
multiply by -1 take -7 as numerator therefore both the
subtraction signs get cancelled.

therefore 8/7 is the slope
of the K.
