This is an interesting assignment, and I know coming up
with a title to rival the excellent To Kill a Mockingbird will be
challenging. Not knowing what your story is about makes it even tougher to arrive at a
title. You may want to focus on Scout's tomboy, unladylike tendencies, and use a
variation of those words in the title ("Cal Tames the Tomboy," for example). You may
also consider using Scout's last name, Finch, in a play on the mockingbird title ("A
Finch Never Gives an Inch" or "A Finch in Overalls"). Hope this helps a
bit.
